Margaret Lalk began her work at the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office in 1982 and took over the Child Protective Services caseload in 2000. During this time she was an active participant on the Counseling Assessment Clinic’s multidisciplinary team and also served as a steering committee member for the center. Lalk retired from the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office in 2007 and now lives in Austin. She continues her work as an advocate for children in the Department of Family and Protective Services system.
