On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are thrilled to have you consider attending our conference. Your attendance is key to advancing support for crime victims. We look forward to learning and connecting with you as we work towards making a real impact. Thank you for joining us.
Our amazing team of board members and volunteers come together each year to plan, organize, finance, and facilitate the Every Victim, Every Time Conference. Their contributions are what makes our conference successful year after year.
This two-day conference equips law enforcement, prosecutors, medical staff, teachers, social service agencies, mental health professionals, and others working with crime victims an opportunity to learn valuable information about victim issues related to the criminal justice system.
In 2006, a group of Brazos County advocates wanted to do "something more" for crime victims. They wanted to make a difference. A need was identified for low cost professional training concerning crime victim’s issues and services. As a group they met to plan and organize the first Every Victim, Every Time Conference held in April of 2007. The first conference had over 100 attendees. After almost 12 years, the conference has grown to over 800 attendees traveling from all over Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico and over 48 speakers from all over the country.
